Beginning June 10, 2016, RACC is seeking works on paper—prints, drawings, paintings on paper and photographs—to purchase for the Visual Chronicle of Portland collection.
The Visual Chronicle of Portland is a collection of original works on paper that portray artists’ perceptions of what makes Portland, Oregon, unique. The Chronicle is owned by the City, and since its inception in 1985, it has grown to over 320 works by 195 different artists. Works are displayed in publicly accessible spaces in City of Portland and Multnomah County buildings. The collection strives to reflect a diversity of populations, artistic disciplines and points of view. RACC administers the program. Click here for more information about the Chronicle.
